Muskoka in Autumn
« on: October 09, 2014, 12:31:10 pm »

Hi Everyone,

I just returned from my first photography trip up to the Muskoka's in northern Ontario.

Feedback welcome....I am a beginner (getting better I think  :-\) and would love some direction on how to improve.

Enjoy...cheers,

Trevor

You could start by spelling colour with a "u"  ;)

They're a bit on the small side, but all look good; I particularly like the first.

Thanks Jeremy...

I am embarrassed...not a very good Canadian if I forgot the 'u'!  :-[  Let's just blame that one on Lightroom...lol

Cheers,

Trev

I like #1 especially - the zig-zag of the stream coming down towards the viewer and the red leaf. I want to hike that trail!

Really good compositions. The colours might be a little intense for my taste.

Very nice locations and well-composed. I'm also in the camp of them being a little over-processed - almost too HDRish with harsh contrast, unless, of course, that's the "look" you are after. Being from Ontario, as well, I'm familiar with the area and with the beautiful autumns colours — welcome to the forum.
