I’m trying to print an image on a Canon ipf6400 in landscape format on 8-1/2 x 11 paper with 0.5 inch margins on the sides. Top and bottom margins are larger since the H/W ratio of the image is less than 8.5:11. If I select 8-1/2” x 11” paper and switch to landscape mode, assuming I will load the paper vertically, LR Print module sets the page bleed such that the margin minimums are Left: .11”, Right: .92” Top: .11:, and Bottom: .12”. In other words I can’t center the photo because I can’t make the Right margin small enough.
My first thought was to work around this by defining custom paper that was 11" x 8-1/2" and then loading an 8-1/2" x 11" sheet horizontally. However, LR tells me the minimum height for paper for the 6400 is 11".
LR allows me to print .5" margins with my little Canon PIXMA printer. The 6400 requires a .92" page bleed on one side? Surely this must be user error?
Help please.
