Epson has announced new desktop printers that can have the inks topped up from bottles.

These appear office oriented printers...not really for photographers.

Well, the real point of the post was to show what Epson are doing and possibly one might surmise that the idea might flow on to larger format machines and more colors.

For Indonesia the bottle refill models exist maybe 4 years. Consumer desktop models though. Wonder whether  this time the US and EU will get them.

So does China and Hong Kong as well.
I had used this printer at my previous office.
The OEM bottled ink actually is really cheap.
And these ink tank printers sold pretty well as well.
I was wonder why the American and the European didn't adopt them for such a long time??

I think It's because majority of indonesian users modify their printer into ciss so epson use this bussiness strategy.
