Nearly Missed
« on: October 04, 2014, 07:54:34 am »

It had been a dull low cloud day and we had given up on any sunset light, so had packed up and were walking off the island when this happened to the sky....

A panic driven unpack and set-up was done in record time and a mad rush for a composition - two minutes later and it had gone.  Lesson learnt, don't ever give up and think it isn't going to happen!

As always, appreciate all feed-back; compositional, post processing, etc.

I like the three-mass composition and textures. I might make the sky just a little less well-defined.

Fine and elegant. I wouldn't change a thing.

I don't give up on a sunset until I can't see my hand. Been on the bad side of surprised one time too many.
