Over The Hill: Works for me.

Tech -- From the shadows and time of day it appears you were shooting a few clicks north of due east (azimuth ~85°). Mostly backlit, yet no flare. Nice.

Art -- The alternating layers of tree lines that taper in from different sides lead the eye and holds my attention. I can't not scan each profile. And the backlighting make the tree branches distinct, adds character and life to the photograph. The fog filled valley channels provide visual breaks and softens the contrast. Adds mystery, and leaves room for the viewer's imagination.

Good job.
