Punchbowl Falls (dark)

I saw an image on FB today and thought to try the same on an image from the same location. This is typically a scene in overcast or daylight. This is about thinking of it differently. Any thoughts or feedback are welcome.

Definitely works for me. There is a nice balance of tones and the central placement of the water is a good choice.

I like it too, it has a "primeval" feel to it.

Very effective treatment which heightens the drama. I still don't like the central placement of the falls, but that's just me.

Have you considered reframing it in portrait format?

Bravo! Nice to see a different take on this locale and so nice to see a photo without that log!
