Settings for metallic pearl
« on: September 25, 2014, 06:33:49 am »

i've just got a pack of Chromajet metallic pearl. My understanding is that this is Mitsubishi paper rebadged. In looking for settings, I find both gloss and semi-gloss recommended. Can anyohe who has used it offer an opinion?

On my profile it says PGPP which is Premium Glossy Photo Paper and that gives good results. DES should be able to answer any questions http://www.des-pl.com.au

Thanks Bob. DES don't have a 3880 profile available to download. My guess is that I could use a Red River one to start. I am just trying to avoid profiling it and just do a couple of test prints to get a look at the paper in action.

I found the profile on the DES website. It was hidden with an arcane name. This should be interesting. Comparing to my own IGFS. IGFS seems a lot bigger gamut.
