Cool, did you use the new Profoto TTL-N or is it with their traditional wireless controller?

My TTN-L should arrive on Tuesday along with the second B1.

How do you like the 85mm f1.4 so far?

I am very hesitant due to the high quality already achieved with my 85mm f1.4 AF-S and the ease of mind generated by its very accurate AF in portrait situation.

Cheers,
Bernard

Profoto TTL B1 works like heel - super easy to use.... any settings on the camera -TTL makes the rest for a perfect picture.... even a monkey can use it...

The downside for now - I couldnĀ“t figure out to shoot highspeed sync -more than 1/320 .... even with my pocketwizzard- b1 just syncs until 1/320 (which is the nikon camera setting) Looks like the camera body thinks B1 is kind of an onboard/system flash...

B2 and normal profoto syncs + pocketwizzards are working fine with highspeed sync...

Ya, ya, ya - we all have equipment we're proud to own - but how about showing us results, instead! Please, don't turn this into a camera club where "what I own" is more important than the photographs we make.

Far as your Nikon is concerned, it 'thinks' it has a TTL flash sitting on the shoe - just one w/o HSS ability.  Hopefully a firmware update in future adds that ability. Congrats on new gear.
