Bar Hopper

This is not necessarily an image I'd normally post here, but there is a nice simplicity to the color, the detail and the ease of the subject.

Extraordinary!  Even if it WAS a composite, it's still a beautiful work of art.

Chris - I curious why you wouldn't normally post such a fine image here.  Actually I guess I know why, but would like to hear your take on it.  I personally would like to see a broader range of images on the this forum and the Critiques Forum.

I guess because it lacks the grandeur or mystery of the Scottish highlands...don't get me too wrong as I think there are some quite nice images coming from that region as there are exceptionally lovely images from artists like Raja Parrikar, or even the pointed, yet quite subtle work we see with RSL, Slobodan, and Rob. This particular piece is almost too simple, thus I think for the most part will get panned by the majority of the group because there is no mystery, no intrigue, no majesty; it is just a butterfly flittering from flower to flower. Still, I think it's freaking great  ;D

Nice capture. The composition and color combination are great.

You should definitely post more of this kind of image. Do you have any butterfly images with a "street" background? :)

The street butterflies in Oakland wear bullet proof vests, and drive low rider helicopters...
