The content of this post is way over my head. But I do have a question about down sampling.
I have a pano that I made in Autopano pro, it was shot on a spherical pano head, and is made up of 48 images, 3 columns, 3 rows. using a Nikkor 85mm f1.8 @f8
I rendered this in APP at 100% which gives me a image that's about 42"x 93"
This is the first time I've actually told APP to render @100% With past pano projects I would render at my finish size, which would be closer to 16"x 40" as my Epson 3800 can only go 17" wide. But for this image I wanted to be able to print larger
One thing I've found with rendering @100% in APP is that the image seems much cleaner with less artifacts as well as better sharpness than the same image rendered @50% in APP.
Obviously there is down sampling going on here when I render in APP at less than 100%. And the down sampling in APP doesn't seem to be the best.
My question, what would be to best way to do the down sampling for my pano rendered @100% in APP?
