They announced the new DP1 Quattro today, supposed to be an improved lens. Also what is interesting is the lcd viewfinder that is supposed to be usable on all Quattro models.....

Excellent news except for the focal length. I was wishing for something a little wider than 28mm FOV.

The diopter viewfinder is the interesting part plus buried in the announcement is a Quatro 3. Now how about cleaning up the firmware and software (that includes the docking station firmware that bricks the ART50) Sigma.

It does look like a different lens: DP1 Merrill 9 elements, 8 groups; DP1 Quattro 10 elements, 9 groups.
