Nikon d810 and D4s AF compared in low light?
« on: September 07, 2014, 07:23:35 am »

Is there a photographer here in the forum who has both the Nikon d810 and D4s? I would like the hear a real life experience regarding AF performance in low light?

I know that the 810 is capable only 5fps. I am wondering whether the AF in the D810 is as fast and accurate in low light as the AF in the D4s?

Thanks so much!

I don't have both in hand, just the D810 right now but I was using a D4s earlier this year. Both seem pretty capable in low light. They are using the same AF hardware and firmware.

Nikon says the d810 uses the same AF hardware as the d4s but is optimized for 36MP..
So you can imagine it is abit sloer in its decision...
The new 750 seems to be the low light champion..
