I would crop it to have less water and more light (and clouds) !

But it's a matter of taste.

I feel like the magic in this shot is not in the foreground but in the background. Those mountains in the distance have wonderful, dramatic light on them. In this situation, I would have tried a telephoto and focused in on the mountains in the distance.

Thanks a lot for the comments. Although I like the wide framing in this case, I attach here a version with a bit more clouds, while preserving the water with its light patches.

Both versions are beautiful, but if I had to choose it would be the second one.

Don't know, doesn't really do it for me.  Although I do like the spot light and water reflections.  Depth is nice.
