It seems very popular these days for hardcover books to have rather than a glossy sust cover, but what I can best describe as a synthetic Matte finish. I'm trying to find a paper like that for a Book Mock-up project I'm working on.
Do you know what this type of paper is called? It's not Matte like Epson Matte paper or any fiber paper. It is very smooth, with a dull sheen. To me it feels very synthetic.
If you go in a book store you will see a lot of covers like this. I even saw some magazines with this type of paper.
