sinaron digital macro 120 DB lens
« on: August 05, 2014, 11:48:50 pm »

Hi,
I want to have a macro lens for still life_ around 5:1 or 2:1 area which I want to use my sinar p2 and p65+.
I don't want to spend a lot of money for this since macro shooting is not my regular shoot....but still important.
I used to rent a schneider 120 macro_digital lens for previous shoots and I was quite happy about it. It's not easy to fine a used lens though.

My question is_
if I get a used sinaron digital macro 120 DB and a used copal 0 shutter, is there any serious issue to combine those to make a macro lens with those?
Or I heard that the new schneider 120 Apo-Digitar Aspherical Lens has approved macro ability. Is this lens better choice than the true macro lens(even though old design) without considering the price for a moment?

I already use schneider 100 N lens as my usual normal lens.

For a different question, what would be a good wide angle lens for still life? Sometimes, a wide angle lens is required to give some exaggerated perspective to still life image. Nikkor 65 is good enough? I have a 80 and a 50 lens already.
I wonder if the Nikkor 65 F4_old film lens, is good enough for digital sensor...P65+.

Many thanks in advance!
