« on: October 01, 2005, 02:57:24 pm »

I sometimes need to see only the photo on the screen but now I can't remove the toolbox and bars, I used to do this easily when I had windows 98 2nd edition, I now have windows xp home and use PSE3, please help if you can, thanks and regards,

The ">|" button (I don't know what it is called) near the "Q" (left of the "Q" on my laptop )should do the trick, it toggles all the menus on and off. You can also go into the Windows menu to turn on or off specific menus.

This is what I used to do with windows 98 2nd edition but it does not work with PSE3 and windows xp.  The windows menu  does not remove the toolbox, only the undo history, etc. Thanks for your help,

I'm so sorry. I mis-read your post and was thinking of Photoshop instead. I don't know about the functionality of Elements but maybe you can find the inforamtion in the Help menu or hopefully someone familiar with the program will chime in.
