HP Z6100 printer

Can I get opinions about this printer? How often do the printheads need replacing? Print quality? How well does the built in i1 Profiler work? Are there any good third party inks?

Why do you need this printer?
What application does it for?

I had one and didn't like it very much.
It is fast.
There are some bulk ink you could buy online, won't be a huge problem even I used OEM ink with it.
The printhead is cheap and will least around half a year for my "everyday" printing workload.
You can use the onboard i1 to measure the target chart and export the measurement, then reload it in to i1Profiler.

The reasons I don't like this printer are:
I can't use thick paper with this thing, such as Hahnemuhle PhotoRag 308
The paper loading is just a mess
If you are using Windows OS, the driver is not working properly, you better have a RIP with it. I used to use Wasatch with my Z6100. But that means you will have to operate a "RIP"
This printer is just way too big. I can't agree more that someone said this before: look at the Japanese design, Epson and Canon, they are both 60" or above, but their enclosure design are just way better than the HP's.
