I've just been sorting through some images from a couple of events I attended with both the Nikon D3 and Mamiya ZD which is fairly ancient in terms of dMF backs. Time and time again I  keep coming back to the fact that even a FF digital as good as the D3 cannot match the quality and feel of MF. We've had this discussion before on the forum and I am still no closer to defining exactly what the difference is, but it's there and its real.

So,Lee, I wouldn't worry overmuch about the exact model, just go for it if you want to up your game. Even the used Mamiyas and ZD's out there at bargain prices will offer you more than any FF dSLR that I have come across.
