BTW - they are taking phone orders now for their new BH-40 mid-sized ball head. About $325 with lever clamp. Shipment start in 2 weeks. Sounds like a nice match for a 12-series Gitzo rig.

Really Right Stuff have been inundated with orders, and in 2 days of ordering have filled their first shipment. I just ordered a BH-40 and dispach is now at approx 4-6 weeks.

I got my 5D RRS L plate the other day. $140. Works just fine. Trouble is I also got the grip. So now I have to decide whether to get a second L plate to use when the grip is on the camera. Sigh...
