Very nice, Bill. My system will let me look at the bottom two color shots and all four B&W's. The others want to load into DreamWeaver, which is the wrong app. The last of the B&W's is especially excellent, with the hand of man hiding away below that bleak coast.

Thanks for that, Russ. Here's another that shows the hand of man

Great work, Bill, especially the B&Ws. Love the feet, but also the rich three-dimensionality of the clouds and folded rock.

We spent a few weeks in the UK last year and I think I appreciate your images more now that I have seen a small amount of the UK.

A set of images you can be rightly proud of.

The B&W images are the sort of images that make me start thinking - and that is good from where I stand.

Thanks for sharing.

Hi Bill,

Of the first set, I quite like the Man O' War Bay shot, a very peaceful and considered shot, but the first shot isn't an attention grabber for me and looks more of a record shot IMHO, as are the other two, again IMHO.

An old geezer at the club I used to be in, used to refer to shots like those as 5' 10" shots, you know the kind of shots taken whilst walking along and enjoying the place and taking pictures just by bringing the camera up to the eye and shooting to capture a record of the place, rather than spending time to work the scene and to get something emotionally attached to the place - in other words, you were enjoying your walk more than you were able to concentrate on working the scene, which isn't a bad thing.

The second set are much superior, all of them. Here you have really got into what you are doing and worked the scene for all you can and it shows.

So to summarise, set 1 to me feels like a very pleasant walk on the coast and grabbing a few shots, set 2 looks like you were in a frame of mind to do some serious photography, which you have done successfully and it shows and I really like them  :)
