Interesting image. Only a couple of kids seems interested in the waitress' menu, the others are busy doing their stuff but seem very quiet. The kid with his face between the bars looks like he's either punished or wants to stay alone ("bande à part"). There's a lot in this image and I like it very much.

+1.
After being struck by the anguish on the face of the kid in front, I had to go looking through the rest to see if there was anybody smiling in the whole bunch. If anyone is smiling, they must have their back to the camera.

This image weeps with sadness.

A quintessential street scene. Plenty of interest on view, some of it conflicting. This scene would bring a smile to a photographer's face as he/she lifted the camera to his/hers face in readiness to the tripping of the shutter. :)

I think they are now thinking of themselves as prison guards, even though they may not have when this expedition first started.
