Spain - The "hidden" beach
« on: June 28, 2014, 05:48:19 pm »

Hello!

Here's another image from my trip to Spain! I appreciate the comments on my last upload, thank you.

This image was taken during the morning. I parked my car and walked left towards the cliffs hoping to
find some good composition. I thought there were only cliffs but to my suprise walking over a hill I
found a lovely beach. On the image there's mostly rocks but that's the best composition I could get.

Hope you like it!

Nice but I found it better with slightly less overall luminance.

Have a Nice Day.

I love the soft and milky colors of the water… And, of course the orange rocks in the foreground. This place exhales quietness.

I like the contrast between the rocks and water in their textures and colours.

Good and tranquil scene. My take would be to boost the saturation, or vibrancy, a tad, but that is me.

Thank you for all your comments!

Generally I don't like that much saturation in my images. There's so many oversatuarated images now days.. But I think the sky could use some more saturation probably.

There is wonderful subtlety in how you handled this image.  The overall mood is quiet and of soft colors, yet there is wonderful contrast in the elements.  It all looks very natural if I may use that word.  I have found this very difficult to achieve in my own work.  I either end up "flat" or "fake."  You've done neither and have created an image I could live with for a long time without becoming bored of it.  Well done.
