I'm thinking of buying a laptop with XBrite technology in the screen--produces quite vivid results.
My question is how this will work for post-processing photos. I use PS CS and I'm concerned that the screen is somehow pumping up the contrast in a way that won't get picked up by my printer.
Now, I use a laptop without XBrite. I haven't done sophisticated calibration--just used Adobe Gamma. I don't get a perfect match between screen and print--but close enough for a hobbyist.
Does anyone know if XBrite technology will screw up prints, or if it can be turned off?
