Photoshop - colour labels for layers
« on: June 24, 2014, 11:54:28 am »

Photoshop has the following 7 colours available for identifying layers: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Violet, Gray.

Some of my edits have so many layers that 7 colours isn't enough - does anyone know if it's possible to add more?

Hi,

I'm not aware of such a possibility, but perhaps you can group some layers and color tag the group?

Cheers,
Bart

Hi Bart,

I'm already colour-tagging groups and I'm still running out of colours - :o - an extra two or three would do the trick.

Perhaps there's a registry tweak or some other way of doing it.

Naming each layer is a better solution.
