Long shutter speeds. Stop down the aperture to use a shutter speed of 1/4 second or more.
Tripod is required.

MU doesn't hurt, that's for sure. I generally use it for speeds slower than 1/30th of a second, but once you start getting into minutes (not likely in this case, but...), then it doesn't matter so much again.

In the How did they do that catagorey? The art of turning water into waves of white mist at short falls.
