Hi everybody,

considering the Hasselblad H system as a kit, I was wondering if it is possible to switch the body and keep the sensor. I have an H3DII-50 and would like to improve to H4D or H5D. I am satisfied of the sensor and considering costs I prefer to exchange the body only keeping my sensor, viewfinder, batteries and so on...

In Italy the Hasselblad sellers told me that Hasselblad only accept to change the entire camera (body, sensor and viewfinder), but to me, it seems to be a commercial policy, without any technical reason (going to H4D, at least).

Probably there will be a need of "fine tuning" between sensor and the new body but I don't think is an unusual operation.

Some of you have more information about this possibility? And if it is possible, do you know where in Europe?

Many thanks

Matteo
