Is it only my personal impression or has the memory handling improved with CC 2014?
Usually when working with previous versions of Photoshop (Windows 7 64bit and now 8.1 64bit) it quickly grabs the dedicated ressources (has 20 GB RAM to work with, based on the performance setting). Today, I have my first CC 2014 session and Photoshop is not even using half of what it is allowed to. May be based on a better "garbage collection" (sorry, not the exact term, but should fit here) which frees memory as soon as it is no longer necessary, i.e. for files that have beein closed?
Kind regards
Thomas
