Life in the Florida Wetlands
« on: June 16, 2014, 10:45:49 pm »

An interesting day at Wakulla Springs and the St. Marks NWR in NW Florida last Saturday. Lots of beauty laced with everyday drama as the process of survival evolves throughout the day.

Very nice set, Chris.
Like Audubon's drawings, they show the birds being active, which is great.

Great shooting Chris.

I'm jealous.

Very nice, in different ways.  #1 is the most eye-catching, but I could live with #2 and, perhaps, #4.

I, too, am jealous.  Visited Florida once ... .

Great shots, Chris! One of my favorite places when we lived in the FL Panhandle, and still visit when we can. But never got real action shots like these! Were all of these from the electric pontoon boat tour?

Yes on the pontoon boat. No private vessels of any kind allowed in the park portion of the springs.
