3880 paper tray fights back and wins.
« on: June 13, 2014, 05:25:56 pm »

I still cannot figure out how or why this happened.

Print was coming out of the 3880 and sounded like a head strike happening.  Went and saw a huge bowed print jammed at one of the tray extensions.  Paper somehow got jammed into the joint and it refused to let go of the paper.  Tore the edge of the print in the process too.  Paper refused to come out of that joint short of using pliers to pull it out.  Very odd and never had seen that before.  I've seen it hang internally on the right edge extrusions before, but not at a tray joint to this degree.

Some days things just don't work out right.

Sorry, I can not tell what happened but hope your machine will not talk to mine.

Good luck

Be careful they're not on the same network, then.
