Spain - Lovely evening
« on: June 13, 2014, 06:49:33 am »

Hello!

Been some time since I posted an image. I just came home from Spain, been there on vacation for two weeks. Didn't get to do that much shooting.. Here's one of the images I got from there, hope you like it :)

I like the overall composition but would prefer a little more "punch" and possibly a little more sharpness on the seaweed.

I like it a lot. Composition and general color tones are really pleasant. Going with Stamper's suggestions might improved but the original is already very good.

Very nice as-is. Muted colors work well together work well to create a soft, quiet, melancholic atmosphere. Adding punch and sharpness would be like bringing a boom-box to this scene ;)

Thank you for your comments, I appreciate them! I don't know about the sharpness, maybe it's the smaller version that I uploaded here that is not sharp enough on screen? When looking at 100 % on the full size image it's really really sharp, even in the corners. Some parts of the image is not as sharp obviously because of the water. The seaweed in the center of the image is not as sharp because of a wave crashing over during the exposure. With that part sharp aswell it would've been an even better image I belive.

Great capture - magical, mystical. Makes me think of more northern climes than Spain. Nicely done.
