The video brought back some memories. I taught Technical/Engineering Drawing for 20 years and I've taught hundreds of students how to sharpen a pencil.  Mechanical/Propelling pencils are the best thing since sliced bread.

And, yes, I used to sharpen my pencils with a blade...
