The Canon EF 8-15, f1.4 USM
« on: June 08, 2014, 01:20:36 pm »

The Canon EF 8-15, f1.4 USM is actually a Canon EF 8-15, f/4 USM. I suppose it is trivial to change the title and first lines of what is otherwise an interesting review.  ;)

Fixed.  I meant to type f1:4 but mistyped it.  Simpler just to say f4.

For grins, I would like to see the 8-15 f/1.4 please, plus the forklift that brought it.....
Alain, you sure hit on why I love swivel screens, despite all the "well, pro cameras don't have them, too fragile" forum pooh-poohing. They are also great when your viewfinder is high or in an otherwise very awkward position - a great boon for astrophotography. UWA and fisheye lenses are tough to get the best out of - I have been thinking about buying a true FE (Samyang cheapo 8mm) to complement the 14mm Samyang for my trips to the local (Southern Illinois) limestone mini-slot canyons.
