Hello,

I am the first assistant to a fashion photographer here in NYC and I'm selling his Phase One camera for him.

It's the complete package...Camera, lenses, digital back, tether cables (firewire and USB 3), battery grip, that lets you sync at 1/1600th of a second.

It was purchased from Digital Transitions here in NYC in October 2011 and has 91K actuations on it.  It's in great shape, the lenses are perfect (cracked lens shade on the 80mm) and was used almost exclusively in studio.

If you're looking at this post, then you know about the camera.  The files are amazing...the depth and resolution is staggering.  The ability to stop action with a 1/1600th of a second sync speed is amazing as well.

Asking price is $32,000 obo.  Digital Transitions has been kind enough to verify all this information so please don't hesitate if you have questions about anything.

Ideally the transaction would happen in person in NYC but we can work something out if shipping is required.

Included:
Phase IQ180 digital back
Phase One 645 DF body
Schneider Kreuznach 55mm f/2.8 lens
Schneider Kreuznach 80mm f/2.8 lens (cracked lens shade as shown in photo)
Schneider Kreuznach 150mm f/3.5 lens
Phase One V-Grip with integrated flash trigger (1/1600th sync speed)
Profoto Air Sync Transceiver
5 rechargeable batteries and 2 battery chargers.
Firewire and USB 3.0 tether cords
Pelican 1510 sized Phase One branded roller case that fits everything.
All the associated plates and things that come with the camera (that we've never used)

Alternatively, if anyone has additional suggestions on where I might post this camera ad, please let me know.

Thanks!

The best alternative to LuLa for this kind of gear is GetDPI, though the buy/sell section is not as good as it used to be (they unfortunately decided to 'improve' it - i.e. make it worse and charge you for the pleasure).

Fred Miranda might also be an option, but can't dont recall seeing much activity in the way of MFD.

For sheer volume of traffic I would probably place a classified with Photo.net as well.

Wherever you end up, keep your expectations realistic - this is expensive gear, but its resale value isn't what it was even just a year or so ago - e.g. you can pick up a low shot count, minty condition used IQ180 from a dealer for $22k, so a private buyer will be expecting to pay significantly less given they're not getting support and probably no warranty. Adorama, via eBay, recently sold one with a shot count of 10 (so basically new) for $17k.
