Being a sailor, I like the feeling you captured here. You can feel the wind, the boat heeling a bit, the sound of the water moving past the hull. As an amateur photographer, my preference would be to clone out the clouds in the upper right (or crop differently), and maybe lighten up the contrast. That's just me talking as a viewer, not as someone who understand the art of photography. Nonetheless, great image. Thanks for posting.

Two things: pull it in a little on the right and maybe lower the contrast a small tad. There are two sails and two chimneys - make the most of that.

Bob: I guess you refer to the group of clouds that don't combine with the stratus
Seamus: There is no more to the left, I might use a different aspect ratio (e.g.4:3)

I'll try your suggestions to see if I like it better.

Superb! I love the symmetry of the two sailboats and the background landscape and also the sky.
