Though the bystanders may be critical and the dwellers may have some intentions of motion, they seem to complete the tree and help root it there.

Lovely Seamus,

Is it just me, or is there something reminiscent of Enid Blyton happening here.  It would be not stretch to the imagination to think that they might all head off for 'lashings of Ginger Beer.'

Walter,

Remember the Famous Five, the Secret Seven? And Fatty, the guy with the brain!

Wouldn't it be great to be young again, romping around in your head at all hours of the night, illegally devouring these adventures by the light of a bicycle lamp under the bedclothes when the rest of the household was sound asleep and while smugglers went about their dastardly deeds and Georgina and the rest of the gang tracked the wrong-doers along cliff-tops and down in sandy coves, watching out for mysterious signals from nearby lighthouses and bringing the wrong-doers to justice in the end.

As for the Secret Seven, their  greatest enemy wasn't a crook, but the local Police Constable.

Those were the days...

It's a fine shot, Seamus, but for some reason, on my monitor the whites all appear gray. It looks as if the mass of highlights were blown out and then pulled down in post. There doesn't seem to be any detail in the highs.

+1.

It is unusual to see "clipped grays."

You can't get away with anything here! Tell the truth, the original was seriously overexposed.
