Hi Mike -

You're a little too late for the first one.   :'(

But not too late for the first or second batch. We're taking deposits since the announcement, so feel free to contact me directly to formalize an order.

I'm almost never impressed with new products, but this one... I think I actually want this thing.  Much better than mounting on the back of my super heavy Horseman 4x5 LS.

I love the idea of this, however i'm struggling to think of great (affordable) lens options that I need.
I've been very happy with the A7R with Canon's 17 and 24 TS-Es but I wouldn't mind good 35 & 50mm options.

I'm curious – what lenses are you all hoping to adapt?

Certainly understandable.
I suppose, for my needs, I'd have to consider something like the (very costly) Schneider Digitars or Rodenstock HRs.

Does anyone have any opinions about using high end enlarging lenses with this set up. I was thinking of Something like this. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/46421-REG/Schneider_12_037834_90mm_f_4_5_APO_Componon_HM.html

Hello,

I have the 60mm, 135mm and 150mm Rodenstock Rodagon lenses as well as the 75mm, 80mm 90mm, 105mm and 120mm Rodenstock Apo Rodagon enlarging lenses which I use on a Horseman VCC Pro. These lenses are absolutely stunning to work with when shooting food, product, art reproduction as well as portraits.

I am very keen on this new Cambo but I will wait until more information is available for me to purchase it. I would like to know what is the shortest focal length you can use with a Nikon D800 attached. Hopefully someone will post a video on YouTube showing it features.

Cheers

Simon

I know this probably sounds ridiculous, but I'd love an Oly mount so I could use Nikon F mount lenses. I also have a ton of old enlarger lenses that would be a lot of fun to play around with.

I wonder if they'll offer more MF lens adapters for older camera systems... Rollei SL-66 lenses should perform superbly on this gem and maybe Bronica (of all kinds) would also be nice to see... It shouldn't be difficult to add a couple of more options to the lens system, they should include all MF lenses of the past that can operate with the Leaf shutter mech "open" or that have no LS in them ...the Exakta-66/P-6 is another lens mount that immediately comes in mind.  ::)

The way I see it, MF lenses are more suitable for this baby than LF ones... Obviously Sony A-7/r will be much better on it than DSLRs... if Sony could add some cropping options for only the width of the sensor (say 32mm for 3:4 ratio) that would work with LV, it would make the A-7/Actus combination perfect!  I think I'll be buying this soon along with a Sony A-7!  8)

What is the shortest that the mount to sensor distance can be with an A-7 mounted on it Steven?
