When using the spot healing tool to correct for dust and other minor incursions, is it possible to control how much dithering (or fuzz?) is present around the edge so that it is possible to make the new spot blend in with the surrounds?

In Lr5 there is feathering to the spot tool which may help, if you are willing and able to upgrade.
