Naardermeer, The Netherlands
« on: May 25, 2014, 03:23:06 am »

The 'Naardermeer' is an ancient piece of nature originated in the last iceage and it's a combination of lakes and swamps. Very unique in The Netherlands.

You travel through the area by boat, this picture was taken in one of lakes were vegetation can grow in the middle of the lakes due to the shallow depth of the lakes.

Nikon D600, 14mm f/6.3, tonal contrasted, sharpened en cropped a bit at the bottom.

cheers

I like the understated, classic composition. The blue sky at the top seems a little dark.

I also like it, good framing, nice subject and light. But I find that there's some like vignetting or dodge/burn in the sky and the side of the frame that is less than optimal. Did you use a polarizer or post-processing vignetting?
