Finally, something different from a location that has been well covered. I think I would prefer to see the shadows opened up with a more contrast to really accentuate the tones in the rock. It may be less "realistic" (if one can say that about B&W), but it would be more compelling.

I agree with Terry except that I wouldn't do a global lift in the shadows. I'd add a layer and put a gradient in the lower part of the picture. That's where the lows have gone to die. The shadows in the upper area of the picture are just fine as they are. Good shooting, Chuck.
