Sage Thrasher

Another one of my main targets down in Washinton was the Sage Thrasher. These guys get up in to BC but just barely and in low numbers.

I was happy to get this guy up singing on a nice appropriate perch :-)

I am always in awe... If I can catch an indigo bunting on our back forsythia for more than a moment and snap some ridiculously pixelated splotch of colour, I'm happy. The small birds are truly exasperating which makes your work (and that of others like Douglas so amazing.

Thanks for sharing.
