SpectraView has stopped working for 1 monitor
« on: May 21, 2014, 11:24:44 am »

I have been using SpectraView for 2+ years with my NEC PA301W and LCD2690WUXi displays, no problems at all. Suddenly the calibration process won't complete for the PA301 – it gets to 38% (White Point) and sits there, apparently frozen, for 5-10 minutes. Then it gives me a generic error message. ends and tells me that the display is not calibrated. Other monitor is fine. I deleted the program and installed the latest version, same results. Any ideas?

Just a guess but try upping the backlight intensity a good 20 or so cd/m2.

That shouldn't happen. Please contact me directly or via the SpectraView feedback/support form here:

http://www.necdisplay.com/support-and-services/spectra-view-II/Feedback

We need the usual information (PC/Mac, OS version, software version, color sensor used, is USB connected, any other calibration software installed, recent OS or video driver updates etc.).
