I like the concept, but I find the treatment a bit too harsh for my taste (e.g. blown highlights).

#1 has a primeval feel to it, and #2 is really well done.
I also find the processing a bit on the aggressive side.

The second is my favorite, too.
I have shot a lot of driftwood, and I find it a very difficult subject most of the time.

Very nice, but I too feel that the contrast is too high. I love driftwood and always prefer to shoot on overcast days so I can capture all the subtle tones.
