Punchbowl Falls - Oregon
« on: May 11, 2014, 12:39:24 pm »

Taken a little over a year ago. Coming back to the image with some new (to me) post-processing ideas. Feedback welcome.

Great, really like the wider comp on this one.

Nice atmosphere and appropriate processing. Not sure about the central placement of the waterfall. Then again, that could be changed only by changing the standpoint, and I do not know how possible that was.

Great picture. I don't know why but the more I look at it, the more it gives me a 3D feeling but I am sure I don't have a 3D screen or what not. It must be the composition. By the way, I just have my eye checkup a month ago. Great shot. And thank you for sharing.

I like it too. I like the tension between the calmness of the lake and the power of the falls.

Very nice. I like the atmosphere and the depth of this photo. The greens are also exquisite.

Beautiful in all respects.
And I'm delighted to have a rare opportunity to disagree with Slobodan: I think the central placement of the waterfall is just perfect, and shifting it to either side would look too contrived.  ;)

Lovely, and yes, the central placement is apposite.
