Largest stretched canvas from a 44" roll (Or, lowest amount of canvas on back)

I can work with 1.5" on each side wrapping onto the back, making a 38" face side out of a 44" roll.

What does your process allow?

Does anyone have a process allowing 0.5" on each side, making a 40" face side?

Interesting.  Is there a USA source?  The website says they're trying to get them available in the USA.  Or, a source for a different manufacturer that's similar?

Just order from the UK. If they won't ship directly, use a friend, or a shipping service based there.

Check the stretching system in the Breathing Color website, seems to need very little extra canvas

Another option is to face mount to gator board, I do it with miracle muck, it does look great

I don't get your math. 1.5" on each side, times 2, is 3" so you have 44 minus 3 = 41".

You don't staple the canvas on the sides. You need to wrap some around the back, have room to attach a clamp or machine to pull it taut (unless you're using a spring-loaded, self-stretching frame) and still have room between the clamp/machine and the edge of the back of the frame to staple it.
