Research Posters on Fabric
« on: April 29, 2014, 11:22:28 am »

We have some interest at work in having some of our research posters printed on fabric.
I'm currently printing paper posters on an ipf8400 and am looking into what fabric might be suitable if any.

Also, what are you doing to cut and seal the edge if needed.

How small will the text be? will there be any detail which need to be viewed close-up, e.g. electron micrographs of cells?

Basically, you need a canvas that's as smooth as possible, showing as little canvas texture as possible.

Banner/wallpaper media that allows loose folding to the usual 40x50 cm suitcase size and unfolds without creases. That is what I use for that task. Mural Pro to be more specific.
