Both are fine. If you decide to go with the first, darken the roof a bit, so that it does not lead the eye out of the image too soon.
As Slobodan says, you need the roof – it helps to "frame" (ooo I hate that concept) complete the image but tone it down. Consider also some slight perspective distortion correction; I get the feeling I'm looking down into this space.
