MW3 certification for print from Acrobat PDF files?

Hello, I prepared the targets by saving them from TIFF to PDF from Photoshop as PDFX 1.4, no compression, no profiles attached.

Then I printed them using Acrobat Reader Pro v9 by using same as source (no color management)

Now I want to print Forgra MW3 certification target prepared same way as targets but I can't select Absolute rendering intent inside Acrobat! How to print this target?

I'm not quite sure what your aim is but the simple answer would be that in Acrobat you can't.

My suggestion would be to open the PDF in Photoshop, without colour management, save the file as a TIFF and then open in the (free) ‘Adobe Color Print Utility’ (which can print accurately without colour management); and which you can download from here:

Maybe my english is that bad, but I need to certify the print process as it's being used. Not the other way like using photoshop or ACPU or Fiery RIP etc.

The prints a sent to printer from PDF files, AFAIK Acrobat Pro is made for this purpose right?
So after I make profiles I need to be able to certify my print process as FOGRA certified so I need to print Fogra MW3 test chart using Absolute rendering intent from Acrobat Pro. Why adobe doesn't have rendering intent selectable when printing?

This is really stupid if you would ask me, especially if you know how expensive the Pro version is and it's not available in the cloud or something.

1) If you're using proofing paper, abscol rendering is not necessary IMO, the wtpt of the paper should be close enough to wtpt of CMYK profile
2) If you're not using proofing paper, try to enter Output Preview, select CMYK profile you want to proof, enable Simulate Paper Color, enter Print dialog box>Advanced>Print Setup>Color Management, enable Apply output preview settings

Thank you for the info, I was able to print it using edit->preferences->color management->use bpc    I set to to off.
This made it print like with absolute intent. I measured it and everything was a pass except max de error was not 6 but 7, so thats 1de more. I think larger target would help here.

Exactly, you can't have BPC with an Absolute Colorimetric intent. You'll see this in Photoshop too if the check box for BPC is on, then you toggle to Absolute Colorimetricbs, it toggles the check box off. That's something Acrobat should do if it doesn't.
