Hartblei HCam??  You'd still need to figure out the mount for the lens...

Get a large format bellows camera and use that with a back to adjust for close focus you need.

Chiek read this:
http://archive.org/stream/USAF_lens_datasheets/01-Section-1#page/n20/mode/1up

According to Hartblei the shortest backfocus mount they support is Canon EF, 44mm. Same goes for the ALPA FPS. Not nearly enough for this lens sadly.

Front lens - 15cm
Back lens - 6cm

Isn't if the flange focal distance (98.1 mm) you have to consider?

Cheers,
Bernard

Wow. Certainly some interesting lenses in that document, but something doesn't make sense

A 114mm lens that covers 6x6 format with a back focal distance of 12mm? IIRC, back focal distance is the distance measured from the rear-most glass surface to the focal plane - that's incredibly short for a lens of that length covering such a large sensor.

Are you absolutely sure it covers 6x6? The spec sheet you link to states that the format is "(1.58 in) 40mm diameter", which I would imagine means a 40mm image circle (less than 35mm)?

To address Bernard's question - I think you need to consider both. Flange distance is just the distance between the lens mount and the focal plane. You get lenses whose rear elements extend back beyond the lens mount (Rodie 23HR in ALPA mount for example, and if my memory serves me right, the Canon f/1.2's also).

Kind regards,

Gerald.

the Best way to use this lens on MFDB, You can use sinar system.
Sinar DB (auto aperture shutter) is the largest shutter with x-sync except packard shutter.

Search older sinar digital DB lenses, lens mount and shutter position to REVERSE. so It can use very short flange back.
but Be careful your sensor. I've accidents, digital back sensor scratch, 10years ago.
