Purple cast
« on: April 01, 2014, 01:31:38 am »

I notice in my last couple of prints of my 9600 a purple cast, all over, highlights and dark areas
Tried 3 different papers with the same casting showing, using the profiles I made with color Munki. Before those profiles used to render perfectly neutral prints.

Before I start chasing my own tail and burn gallons of ink and tons of paper does anyone have a suggestion?

A test print shows perfect with no missing lines on the nozzle test, no cartridges showing less than 30% ink left.

Now what?   Making a new set of profiles all over again before anything else is printed??

Hi Hugo.

I have no idea what your experience is, but is there any chance that you are inadvertently doing double colour-management with the printer colour management not disabled?

Great news!
My troubleshooting recently has been bit off the boil - good to know that I have not completely lost it.
