LensWork Podcast Nebraska

I had seen the Nebraska movie already when listening to the podcast where Brooks Jensen praised the black and white movie.  It is a wonderful movie and also for the photography. Recommended!

See the podcasts on iTunes or here http://www.lensworkonline.com/resourcelibrary/podcast/podcastarchive.php?Sentry_loginTkn=pYCq34qm683f6bdn6se2

You can find the Nebraska movie on w.g. the US iTunes store.

The Nebraska movie cinematography was wonderful. It harkened back to classic movies before color took over. The thing I really like was the time spent "dwelling" on small details and scenes that hard little movement. The whole movie was great-got short changed in the Academy Awards, but that's the way it goes. Interesting that recent years have seen some really good B&W movies including The Artist that was a silent film...

Of course, a really great film needs a really great story and actors....cinematography can only do so much to carry a movie.
